Hello everyone, new member here. Like several other people on this forum Im on the list at LONGO Toyota (CA) for a A91-MT. I’ve confirmed with my salesman that I’m up next on the list for a CU later gray. Btw I’ve been on the list for more than a year ??‍♂.

With that said… does anyone here have any idea how many of these “special edition” supras get delivered to each dealership? I’m sure it obviously varies by dealership but I fear LONGO won’t get anymore since Toyota advertises only 500 of these. They’ve gotten a burnout that’s already been bought and a CU later gray that is in transit and already reserved. So that’s two that I know of. Per some other sales rep I spoke to, Toyota has made and allocated approximately 203 of the special edition supras throughout the states.

Does anyone have a clue how many special editions usually get allocated to a high volume dealership like Longo?

About a month ago, there was word that all of the allocations for A91-MT have been distributed in all regions. Not sure how much truth this holds, but I've not seen any unreserved in California that aren't marked up. Even 10k over allocations have been snatched.

Last week I was able placed a deposit on a Grey A91 that is being allocated to a socal dealership. I did see a few in LA county that was available during my search with a 15-25k mark up. I haven't heard anything from dealerships stating they will reach out to me if there is another allocation for the A91. I had the opportunity to place a deposit at Frontier toyota in santa clarita on 10/21 but someone on here beat me to the punch.

First, congrats! Second, what I meant is that every dealer that is due to get an A91 should have been notified on their allocation days every couple weeks. Again, just a rumor that came from a Toyota DM in the Bay Area.

It’ll be exciting when yours arrives! It’s fantastic.

Thank you! I am hoping everything goes smoothly. I believe this could be the last shipment the dealers are getting but who knows. I have seen your post on FB and here and the color is amazing. Can't wait to see how it looks after the PPF.

It's actually not too bad. A good friend owns the shop, so I'm getting cut a pretty good deal for extremely meticulous and quality work. About 35% off of a normal full body quote for a reference point.

btw, I bought the phantom in Auburn from a post that you shared a while back

Aww man, that's awesome and I'm glad! Was it Adrianne that helped you? She is incredible and satisfied every bit of my obsessiveness. They're a fantastic dealer with great ethics and a business that truly values relationships and employees. Makes me happy to hear that you were able to snag that and that you're on this forum!!

Sure thing, I took it to Imperial Works in Sacramento. I've hosted a few events there for my other car club and the owner is extremely meticulous and super hard on himself. Usually means that every car he works on comes out as perfect as it can get. I've been going to him for about 15 years now and before he started his own business. Him and his business partner are incredible guys.

So just yo be clear, you’re saying that dealerships should be getting word on allocations every couple of weeks? Meaning there’s still a chance to get one?
You’re previous post sounded like all 500 have been allocated and assigned to dealerships a month ago.

Well that's the thing, a Toyota DM in the Bay Area said Toyota has allocated all A91-MT already. I don't know if that means that dealers have been notified of those allocations yet or if it means that allocations have already been distributed and are no longer happening. With the A91-MT making the first releases of the manual in the US and dealers now getting Base/Premium Manuals, it seems to be true that they may have been all allocated.

All speculation, take it with a grain of salt. I don't even think higher ups with Toyota entirely know.

But to the allocation point, every 2 weeks, dealers get their allocation pools for vehicles they've been awarded/given.

After waiting a year… this is pretty shitty if it’s true ☹.

My salesperson was Zach, and likewise, I can only say good things about everyone at Auburn.
I was actually going to use Imperial Works, but there was too much demand and waitlist for them and I didn’t feel comfortable with driving without ppf so I went with another installer. Glad to hear good things about them, I’ll probably use them in the future.
