AA catted downpipe V3

Spent the afternoon installing the new AA catted downpipe V3. Took me like 2.5 hours all by myself.

No CEL light, followed the directions on how to “cure” the new cat. 10 mins on idle, 2 mins @2500 rpm followed by a cool down.

I’ll keep everyone posted on how it does. Its going in for PPF and ceramic
Coating on Monday so won’t be driving much until next Friday.

I’ll get some sound clips tomorrow if anyone is interested. Stock exhaust, SP1R on order. AA catted DP and MST v2 intake,turbo inlet.

Honestly, haven't really driven it since the install.

Installed it late Saturday afternoon, did the recommended break in, and dropped it off on Sunday for PPF/ceramic coat/tint.

I should have it back Thursday.

Should the V3 without GESI sound different than most of the YouTube video ones which are mostly V2?

Yes huge difference over stock, especially once paired with an aftermarket catback exhaust.

The V2 and V3 sound pretty similar since the CEL count is similar too.

with the old GESI cat, yes big difference on cold start. Not super noticeable when cruising. Can't speak to the new version though.

they are all 400 CEL, i dont think it will sound much different than the V2
