Aliexpress steering wheel

I just saw someone post this on facebook yesterday. $263.25 https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805666037902.html
Wondering if anyone actually got it. Some reviews say the red mark is misaligned and you can actually see it on the photos. Explains the price?

I'm sure you'll actually get the wheel. It more than likely wont be a quality wheel though and can be potentially dangerous god forbid you get into an accident. They don't use OEM steering wheel cores and can bend or even snap very easily. I've seen peoples cheap steering wheels bend simply from hanging onto the wheel while getting in and out of the car.

I agree with above. Getting tacked on cf bits and such are okay on sites like aliexpress. But for functionality like the steering, no bueno imo. But who knows, vendors get them from China regardless.

The misaligned red stripe would bother me even when I wasn't in the car. Its a no for me dawg.

Probably work fine, just make sure you replace your airbag with a Lays potato chip bag as well to really align safety systems.

Err, well they do work, and they generally look okay from a distance, I have seen my fair share and even keep an old one on hand to show differences between my wheels and the ali express special. From a safety aspect you may never have an issue, or it may result in a misaligned airbag that does not blow at all or does not blow properly which is often times even more dangerous. Im all for saving money, which is why I preach a lot of my rep carbon over the "real thing" but for certain items like steering wheels which you touch and hold everyday and are a crucial safety system in the car, I would probably avoid scimping out there. Not to say I don't have any bias, as I do sell these for a living and work with them everyday, but it looks like most people carry a similar sentiment.
