Anyone installed AMS Performance window buffeting fix?

My rexpeed CF arrive next week—was it as simple as popping off the mirror, releasing the 4 clips and pulling the old cap off? Pulling that mirror off—-the thought of it breaking—-makes me nauseous!! Loo

Yea it totally took my by surprise. Since I picked ground and MDW is coming up I figured I wouldn’t be seeing it til next weekend. IND did very well!

My bad, you didn’t refer to him specifically and I thought you were referring to this actual forum topic post.

I wrapped mine (matte version) partially with glossy black vinyl to make it less visible and not clash with the factory glossy CF mirror covers. On my car only the diffuser flap that protrudes outward is matte carbon fiber and only using the driver side as the passenger side fitment was questionable.

I only drive by myself and open only the driver side window so that's all good.

You probably did not install them correctly, they fit awesome.

The bottom portion that is supposed to round the arm of the mirror does not sit flush whatsoever. There's a HUGE gap which makes them look cheaply made. Maybe I got a bad batch?
