Thinking of moving out of California. Not necessarily tommorrow but maybe in the next 5-10 years depending on job/life situation. No real ties here other than friends from work and school.

I've grown tired of the traffic, crime, political BS, high cost of living, etc. Love the weather and beach, and being able to see really cool cars really often here in LA.... BUT!

Wondering if grass is greener for some of you. I'm no spring chicken, but planning on retiring in the next 20 years (yeah I have a while).

Looking to stay with the car hobby. I really love the Supra and intend on keeping it long term. So car community, local racetracks and/or autocross is important as is a big ass garage and property for the dog to run around on.

I've lived in Washington state for a while and loved it. I'd consider moving to a snowy place I grew up in Minnesota as a kid.

How's life outside CA for you guys?

Depends what's important to you. I grew up in SoCal, in the SFV. Moved to the east coast about 20yrs ago when I graduated from grad school to take a job. Still go back to visit family in SoCal every year. I don't miss the traffic and high cost of housing that's for sure lol. Modifying cars is a lot easier when you aren't living in Cali nowadays too. The cold weather does suck for any type of racing since everything is closed, unlike socal though lol.

Welcome to Florida, almost the opposite of California. Some ares are still high traffic but weather is wonderful. Sales tax is less, no state tax, easy to own guns and modify cars. If you sell your Cali home than you would profit buying Florida home. Our property tax is high and insurance is very high. Those are the 2 negatives.
i used to visit SF yearly for a week in the past but that city has gone down hill fast with homes less and drug use. for the flight time, we visit Spain now.

Don't you guys get regular cyclones? We see them on the TV here too regularly for me.

FL gets regular thunder storms all summer long and it's also hot and humid as shit. Anyone that states that the "weather is wonderful" there is delusional.

Southern California is way more in the "wonderful weather" realm. Average of 266 sunny days and average of 70*F, with no humidity.

What do I know though, I traded California weather for this...

Yes Florida gets hit with hurricane yearly. Wether you take the direct hit is another question. Lived here about 40 years and had 2 or 3 direct hit. No damage to house. Current live 20ft from intercostal sea wall on Atlantic side for about 20 years, even with global warming, high tide with category 3 hurricane has not gone over sea wall. Unlike other natural disaster, you got 3 to 7 day warning to prepare. I’m on Atlantic side so water comes in fast and leaves fast, our friend on the west coast is a sponge, water comes in and doesn’t leave quick enough so they flood.
As for hot, it’s hot as f in the summer but no hotter than anywhere else in the usa, but our winter might hit 50s like 5 nights in a year. We will be our coldest this year predicted 56 tonight.
In the summer we get daily thundershowers that’s generally predictable around 2pm and last an hour. I generally fish in the ocean 7am and back at dock around Noon just before the storm hits.
If price, politic, and people wasn’t a factor I love to live south Florida, south Cali, and Hawaii.

I moved out of Southern California, and never looked back. Left the "best" weather in the world, to go to Texas. We got tornados, cold , hot as fuck, etc. And ya know what, I don't want to ever leave.

I moved from Southern California to NM a couple of months ago, primarily due to family. I miss friends. I miss the beaches and a few other things. I don’t miss the outrageous taxes and high cost of living. I knew fuel was cheaper in NM, but I got two good surprises only days after I arrived. Car registration was $103.00 for two years ($206 for my two cars) - last year I paid a combined $689 for my Supra and my Subaru Outback. NM issues only rear license plates (front license plates are not required). As a bonus, no restrictions on window tinting. And of course, auto insurance is also lower. Downside? Speed cameras around Albuquerque, so one has to pretend to be a little old lady from Pasadena, CA; that is until one is out of the city. On the way to Santa Fe, I noticed everyone on the fast lane was doing 80-95 mph the whole way. Oh yeah, no earthquakes in NM!

Data driven players usually look for low volatility titles to minimize the risk of a rapid bankroll depletion. A thorough review of https://xn-----6kcckd0aibbcbol0bqf7ac5bb.com/ shows that small wins occur frequently which helps in maintaining a steady balance over time. The game provides five distinct betting levels starting from 20 credits and reaching up to 400 credits for high rollers. I have noticed that the grape and melon symbols offer mid tier rewards that bridge the gap between small hits and the jackpot. Using the autoplay function can help you maintain a consistent pace but you must set a strict loss limit beforehand. A disciplined approach to these 20 paylines is the only way to stay ahead of the house edge.
Those registration fees alone would make anyone pack up and head to NM! The single rear plate thing is such an underrated perk, no more ugly front bracket messing up the look of a Supra. Honestly the speed camera thing is just a minor tax on people who can't read signs, once you know where they are it's a non-issue. And yeah, the stretch between Albuquerque and Santa Fe basically turns into a gentleman's agreement freeway once you're clear of the city limits lol. No earthquakes AND cheaper everything? Sounds like you accidentally stumbled into the cheat code for Southwest living!
