Anyone traded their s550 Mustang GT for a Supra, any regrets?

Yeah a GT from 8 years ago was half the cost of a Supra today - but what an odd way to compare.

I do not miss this shit box at all. 51k MSRP and I paid 39k otd new. The shitty MT82DT4 shitbox crappy POS trans ruined that car for me. I put less then 10k on that car in 3 years I hated driving it so much. If it was the A10 I may have kept it.
I don’t regret getting the Supra one bit. I think it’s a better car in every way but 2. The sound and the little bit extra room.

Yup well said. It looks good and has that raw appeal. And if it was priced right, a lot less, it might even be worth considering the downsides. You just don’t feel like you’re getting a decent bang for the buck.

I think many people forget or find out (my wife included) it’s no where near the quality of the Supra. My wife never dealt with the parts that seemed dated/outmoded. Even changing the cabin air filter was worse than our Supra. Also, if the mid-pipe wasn’t wrapped or had an aftermarket heat shield/tunnel plate, the inside would get hot as hell ? when driven hard. Unlike our Zupras.
