?True, MHD does require a bench unlock for the DME, luckily i'm a MY20. But the best part about MHD is the ability to tune on the fly and flash maps within a matter of 5-7 seconds. For OTS they have Stage 0 (stock power) for reflashing back to stock purposes. Stage 1 for just a base tune, no modifications needed. Then last is Stage 2 for aftermarket downpipe'd vehicles. Stage 1 & 2 both incorporate 91 oct., 93 oct., 95 oct., and E30 OTS maps. The OTS E30 for my car makes 475hp according to the sport display. I don't know how accurate the Sport Display is, but as far as i know, the youtuber Thic Whips dyno'd the car on a Stage 2 E30 OTS map at CES motorsports, the car dyno'd at 477hp so i'm guessing either MHD modified the Sport Displays to register accurate or close to accurate values... ??Thic Whips
Stage 2 E30 OTS (registered in my car)
now i'm not saying my car is exactly modified like Thic Whips in terms of power/ induction related parts, but i feel as if the MHD is just ballpark tuning for the majority of cars to work, not just a few, cause then it wouldn't be an OTS tune, it would have to be specific per vehicle. OH and the second best feature for MHD, the ability to upload custom tunes from either your tuner of choice or yourself if you're into that. ??
