Wassup everyone!

I haven't heard back from APR yet, but I was considering not installing the splitter rods on my APR splitter (mainly cause it looks clean without them). I feel like the splitter is very secure already as it completely replaces the dust tray and is bolted to the underside of the car (not just the bumper). BUT, I'm not a professional splitter guy.

Anyone have some input?

The rods reinforce the splitter from the air pushing down on it. It also helps prevent flexing / cracking while driving.

With that said, it’s also not technically needed of you have it for show.
If you don’t like the rods, you can use black shrink wrap or paint the rods to blend in.

Decided to just go ahead and install the rods since I do plan to have some speed. Thanks for all your input!
