Armaspeed intake - does this sound right..?

Hello,

Just installed the armaspeed intake..
im not hearing much “suction” as the videos on youtube but more so the spool..?
those w an armaspeed intake,
does this sound… normal?

Double check for leaks. Mines doesn't sound like that.

Sounds like a leak! Mine doesn’t make any noise like that. This is inside the car:

Check the turbo elbow, make sure it's on securely.

The silicone coupler can actually come out loose when tightening the clamp, if the clamp is too far from the edge. Give the intake elbow a shake and use a flashlight to check if couple's loose. If the elbow has play, it's probably loose. The assembly should normally be stiff.

Thanks for the input fellas,
redid the install, it sounds better but still hearing the spool quite a bit.
cabin noise is good 3-4k rpm, but after the spool kicks in.
Going to take a look at it again on the weekend..
