Looking at a bigger turbo / 4" Downpipe etc.

AWE Touring Exhaust, resonated and chrome tips - 1700 shipped in the US - PENDING

- Best sounding exhaust for the car, tempted to keep and make it work with something custom. Willing to ship. I also have the Non-Res mid pipes if you want those instead. If you want both mid-pipes, lets talk about shipping

Borla Exhaust, chrome tips - 1100 shipped in the US

- Amazing valved system, no complaints. Ran this catted and catless. I did jb-weld the valve motor clip onto the Borla side to stop rattling at idle. No rattle with a catted DP or OEM DP

**I have videos and comparisons of both setups with different downpipes. AWE has about 2k miles on it. Borla has about 3k miles. Shipping is going to be expensive on the AWE so the price is firm, unless you want local pickup in Southern NH!

Borla just removed from car and boxed up. Opened the AWE box for pictures.

Some decent videos and reviews of both, which I did:

https://www.supramkv.com/threads/borla-catted-v-catless-interior-clips.36328/

https://www.supramkv.com/threads/awe-touring-v-borla-interior.29924/

https://www.supramkv.com/threads/borla-vs-awe-touring-soundclips-aa-catted-dp.28160/

Which one would I pick? AWE For the sound; OEM or Catted DP I would go non-res. Catless I would pick the Touring Resonated. sound = 10/10

Borla is silent in the car with valve closed, even catless. Loud and some drone with the valve open, catless. If you want / need a valve I think Borla is the absolute best option. The muffler side is resonated, but also has that Helmhotz tech that AWE uses. This is the exhaust I ultimately chose with the catless DP for the valve. sound = 9/10

Borla fits up and under the car nicer, AWE Tips look better. Can't go wrong with either.

I know videos don't ever do them justice, but how is the cabin sound with the AWE resonated + AA catted dp? I really want the AWE but I also want something with a valve to keep the sound down when I want.

Sound is subjective of course, but currently I am running the AWE Touring Resonated with an AA Catted Downpipe and it's perfect. Loud like a sports car should be but not childish straightpiped VQ / Civic loud. There is a good amount of cabin noise, but it is not overbearing in my opinion. It sounds clean and there is little to no drone whatsoever. Cruising RPMs keeps the car quiet enough for me.

I originally had the AWE Track Resonated version (which i converted to the Touring Resonated by adding the AWE Mufflers), that paired with the Catted Downpipe sounded great but there was more drone around the 3k-3500 RPM range (still tolerable to my standards). I miss how rowdy the pops and burbles were with this setup.

I ended up buying the mufflers around when I bought my downpipe because I was worried the Track Resonated paired with the Catted downpipe would be too loud but to be honest, I would have kept this setup, I just got curious as to what the Touring Resonated would sound like and didn't want to feel like buying the mufflers was a waste of money. I contemplate going back but decided it's better to be a bit more lowkey in Cali... we'll see how long that mindset lasts.

Honestly, I have a few guys interested in the resonated setup. I would try the non-res mid pipes! Let me know if youre interested. I ran non-res + AA catted and it was my favorite sound

Interested in the borla. But I hear there might be fitment issues with the 2026 models. Maybe I will need to look into it more.

Do you have the fancy diff brace in the rear? If not, should fit fine. If you’re local I’m happy to have you come over and we can install it / make sure it fits for you!

No I believe that`s only for the final edition which I don`t have.

Are you sure it has everything needed for a install? I would be doing it with a friend of a friend who has a lift. I don`t know what kind of extra tools he has or parts if needed. haha.

Absolutely. It’s ready to go and I attached the pictures of it all assembled for your reference. Tips are wrapped up and protected. Clamps all sorted together as well. It’s an easy install since it’s a bit single under the car. Shoot me a PM with your zip and I can double check shipping is reasonable.

i agree i think AWE touring resonated with a catless downpipe is one of the best exhausts money can buy for this platform if you're after a proper dual exhaust.
