My battery keeps dying put a new one in a month ago and now my car wouldn’t start so I had to jump it off. This isn’t the first time I had to do this. Has anyone else dealt with this if so what do I need to do or buy even to stop draining my battery? fyi this car has 9,000 miles:doh:

find the electrical draw. Almost guarantee it is something aftermarket
start testing for current at fuses with car off
I’ll do that! I didn’t know that if you don’t register the new battery that it could possibly drain it. I’ll test the fuses and then register the new battery today.

If exact same battery does not need to be registered.
registering just optimizes charging and "prolongs" battery health and life.

Will not cause parasitic drain.

I have a lithium battery and still have not registered it.... lol

Someone found an unauthorized GPS tracker stuck up its OBD2 port recently, I think.. and it was draining his car's battery. Might be worth a check since it's easy access..

Dealership left a OBD powered GPS tracker on my car. I had a similar problem but couldn’t jump it off.
