Best after market carbon mirror caps?

PPF shops will generally tell you what they want you to hear. Just tell them the shop down the road wants to use something other than whatever they're using and listen to their response. It's also amazing how they can spot faults in PPF work - as long as they didn't apply it. Absolute joke of an industry.

To be honest, I'm not expecting I'll need to replace them in the short to medium term. Sometimes branded products (or those that buy it) like to spread rumors about the failure of essentially the same product to drive business (and not look stupid) at 10x the cost.

Of course, just remember, buying from AliExpress is always a roll of the dice. I'm still very happy with my mirror caps (driven just under 10,000km or 1 year) and they're showing no signs of wear or peeling thus far. Mind you I have had them clear coated (paint protection) and I almost never drive in the rain, if that means anything.

just a follow up.. these are the caps I went with.. couldn’t bring myself to do the m style caps..
Fitment is good.. not all the clips push all the way through but I’m pretty confident they’ll stay in place..
