BMW 340 jb4 for GR Supra?

Hey all, someone local to me is selling a jb4 off of a 340, I wanted to see if it would work on the Supra , or if the jb4 a are vehicle specific.

I am pretty sure Jb4 is engine specific, so b58 should work for another b58, I would confirm by calling Burger motorsports or wait till a more seasoned jb4 user replies as I personally do not use one. I do know that you want one with the bluetooth function so you can connect it to the app to switch maps and stuff like that. I am not sure if that can be bought after the fact so also something to ask.

They are engine specific, but also the harnesses vary slightly.

It'll work, mine came off a B46. Just buy the EWG cable from burger if it doesn't have one.
