Bumping this thread from the dead, the factory seats is getting more and more to be a literal pain in the ass.

Nobody has attempted to do this swap?

If they're the same, how can it be significantly better?
Leather that feels like actual leather instead of feeling liked rubberized vinyl. Possibly a softer more GT inspired seat instead of the pretty firm seats. Little more personality and design in the BMW seats, especially in the headrest area. Plus, there's more color offerings to try and brighten up the incredibly dark and snug cabin.

One issue may be that the Z4 seat memory buttons are on the door, and the Supra memory buttons are on the seat base. Not sure if that will present issues for the wiring harness and for all the power functions to work properly.
