and folks who have multiple cars and the Supra is a toy (me). I could sell it, and definitely don’t need to replace it.
Same here but I like it too much to no longer have it.
A handful of Thousands is not enough temptation.
TENS of thousands, well yeah :D

Yeah, totally agree. A couple grand is pocket change.. easier just work like normal and don't spend on dumb things..while keeping your Supra and all the other cars, mods, tools, garage, etc etc one's already got.

^ This. Plus with MKV's (as well as almost all German cars IME) if you got one without any problems... (especially electrical and/or oil leaks) you've already won a bit of a lottery - and you might not be as lucky next time around. Even if I could make $10K on the deal (which I can't) I probably wouldn't do it. I just can't see being OK with doing a couple years in one of our SUV's while I waited. The Supra is simply too much fun to drive. ?

Now if I'd already had it in the shop 4 times for oil consumption or other issues... then I'd be taking advantage of the prices to do a near even trade - for another one.
