Broken cooling fin on rear diff cover. Is this an issue?

Was working under car today and noticed the horizontal cooling fin on the left side of the rear differential is missing (see pics). Is this anything to be concerned about? No idea how it happened.

I wouldn't be concerned if the cover itself isn't compromised.

Can't see it being an issue. Someone has probably been a bit careless jacking the car on it in the past, maybe.
