From a quick look on the Toyota Approved Used website, I’m guessing you’re going to Chelmsford Toyota to look at their 2.0 Fuji Speedway Edition in white? Looks nice. Good luck, and let us know how you get on.

Well, that’s disappointing…super Supra, even the white, red and black combo made it more of a stunner, but I’m just too tall to drive it!
Real shame,☹
Many thanks for all the help but the next car search continues.
Cheers guys and good luck for the future!

Ok, one last try at this!

I have had a search but can’t find specifics…

1) Removing the brace behind the seat, does it really make much difference to seat movement?
2) How easy and how much gain to be had by removing the seat runners and bolting the seat directly to the floor?

Cheers guys!

I heard from some people that removing the OEM brace will give you a few more cm in movement.
So yes, it will make a difference.

wait you fit in a audi tt but not the supra? supra has more leg room, head room, and width room.

I replaced the brace with a Cusco one, had a play with the seat while it was out and the difference wasn't enough to make a huge benefit IMO.

There's no getting around the fact it's cramped.

For me one of the real pains getting in and out was the sloping roof line... looks ace, pain in the neck for entry and exit.

I don't really understand.
I am a fairly stocky 6'3" and I fit in the car with the seat not all the way back to the bar.

I can also fit with an helmet at trackdays, yes it is uncomfortable (touches the roof), but I can.

I semi-regularly drive the car long distance across Europe mostly stopping for each tank of fuel only.
I have a slipped disc and my left leg gets a bit painful at times, so I have to slightly shift positions after some time. But we are talking hours.
I won't say it's the most comfortable seating ever, but it's way more than doable and you can fit a larger human in. It looks ridiculous, but fits. :)

I think it depends on fitness and level of abuse you've given your body up to that point in your life! 😂

20 year old me would have leapt in and out all day :p
