Which dealership? I reached out to Heninger but they already had quite a few people on their list.Order just placed in Calgary today for a 2023 manual, I was told arrival is estimated March or April 2023. Who knows what will actually happen.
It was in fact HeningerWhich dealership? I reached out to Heninger but they already had quite a few people on their list.
Did Toyota Canada confirm your allocation or did Heninger simply say they placed your order? It was in fact Heninger
That’s a great question, I thought that was the same thing. I’ve never purchased a new vehicle before so I don’t know how the process works.Did Toyota Canada confirm your allocation or did Heninger simply say they placed your order?
Sadly not, if you read the first few posts by Rustyoid in this thread or the GR86 thread (https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147635) you'll get a better understanding of the process. Your dealership placing an order and Toyota Canada confirming the allocation for your dealer are two distinct steps. I placed my deposit with my dealer in April and on June 7th they placed my order with Toyota Canada, but the allocation still hasn't been confirmed. That’s a great question, I thought that was the same thing. I’m assuming I will receive an update from Toyota Canada if my order is accepted?
Toyota Canada doesn't take orders. Dealer puts in a request and tries to match your desired spec with an allocation that matches. No made to order requests. That’s a great question, I thought that was the same thing. I’ve never purchased a new vehicle before so I don’t know how the process works.

No. Have you played with the configurator? The A91-MT in the USA can be configured with CU Later Gray.So CU Later Grey is only on canadian AT 3.0 premiums?
No, I think the way I said this is confusing. I want CU Later Grey on an AT 3.0 Premium in the USA. I'm aware of the color being available on A91-MT already. I was just wondering why I can't get that color on an AT 3.0 here.No. Have you played with the configurator? The A91-MT in the USA can be configured with CU Later Gray.

I have to believe that CU Later Gray will become a standard color for 2024 MY going forward. It would just be weird for Toyota to drop all gray/silver once the A91MT goes away. Maybe just wait it out to see what additional changes will be made to the 2024 MY.No, I think the way I said this is confusing. I want CU Later Grey on an AT 3.0 Premium in the USA. That would be cool, but I'm just going to go for stratosphere/portimao blue. I'm really digging that color, and it seems no one's taking the stratosphere AT allocations, so I don't think I'm going to have to fight too hard for it lol.I have to believe that CU Later Gray will become a standard color for 2024 MY going forward. I know your pain, had the same thing happen to me when the Supra first launched. Was told I was #1 on the dealers list, then when they got the first Supra in it was magically not mine and somehow the owners wife had oneCalled Brampton dealer and they said the dealership owner will keep the car for himselfbruh
