Wow, great for you to hopefully get a car so soon with such a late order... I'll get mine in 2024, if I'm lucky. Maybe I should start looking for another dealer with a shorter waiting list.

Do you know what number you are at your dealer? Only reason I know is because at the time of order noone else had ordered at my particular dealer.

I wouldn’t lose hope yet. It looks like the first wave of cars were all special editions , the regular ones should be trickling in now. Our neighbours to the south are getting more and more each day it seems.

I was eight when I put down my deposit. One was delivered in October, so I should be seventh now.

The few dealerships I went to either wouldn't take my deposit, wanted to sell me warranties etc that I didn't want, or that I was too far down the list to even bother. I went to my specific dealership because I knew the sales manager there and he confirmed (at the time) no one else had ordered any MT Supras. I was told that the dealerships received 2 auto's last year and likely would only receive 2 more Supras for the next year (2023).

If you're worried you may not receive yours I would probably try and shop around a bit more..

To whomever chatted online yesterday, I have a waiting list about 8-9 orders deep at the moment. I appreciate you want this car and all, but yes, you do need to get on the order list to hope getting one.

VTN is vehicle tracking number, its just an internal reference number used as things need to be tracked before VINs are designated.

In 2022, our Supra was allocated beginning of July, arrived at eastern port mid Sept, arrived at dealer end of Nov.

I spoke to the rep at my dealership, he said they've received no allocation yet but they'll update me when they will.

Is it possible they don't have access to the information you do?

The moment I saw the post the other day I reached out to my sales rep w/ the VTN and he confirmed it was mine, maybe you can supply them with that and see if they can get back to you with anything?

no, but i would recommend being patient and polite. If you called immediately after I posted, they may not have yet noticed the allocation being released. As we all know there are hardly any of these cars being sent to Canada so far, I imagine most dealers want to take their time deciding how to process it.
