Just installed Titan motorsport catless downpipe with generic 02 sensor CEL spacer. Also run a Dinan stage 1 controller. Noticing a slight decrease in MPG, is that common? I know the obvious catless means no restriction which means less work on the engine to produce more performance. And MPG isn't a huge concern for me. Just wanting to know if that is common. Thanks y'all

You're on the loud pedal more, lol. Catless should improve MPG. I just went catless this week so I'll report back my findings later. My GTI's MPG improved a couple when I went catted DP.

How did the 02 fouler work for you? Did you still receive a CEL?

Well if your right foot is being heavier then mpg will drop. Also you said you put a controller on so that might effect it.

I got the same catless downpipe. At first I guess it was better MPG then a slight decrease. Another thing is at play though, you put your foot down more subconsciously. But after a while every day driving and other stuff yeah MPG is normal I guess. At first I did notice and keep checking now I don't really care or check soooooo.

Which generic O2 sensor spacer did you use?

you should not notice a difference in MPG, but now that the car sounds better, you are more likely to push it more which decreases the MPG
