Ceramic Coated Wheels and Calipers…

I elected to ceramic coat my 20” Vossen VFS6 wheels and calipers.

The wheels were coated when I bought them a couple years ago… but it wore off in time.

I prepped and ceramic coated them again today getting ready for Spring (parked for Ohio winters).

I’m also running dust-free ceramic brake pads to keep things clean.

Looks dam good, when you wash goes the dust wash away? As no sponge needed?

In my experience, no, never. Gotta use a sponge.

~ I would say yes… a sponge would be needed if the car was extremely dirty.

The light brake dust rinses off easier with the ceramic coating in place.

Also, what did you use on your tires? ?

~ I use chemical guys vpr… I apply the product onto a foam applicator pad and wipe the excess off the rim lip after applied. Not too shiny or thick imo but provides a clean look that doesn’t fling.
