So of course this can only happen to me. While changing the factory mirror caps to some red launch edition ones I somehow managed to do something to the driver side one. After putting everything back together the mirror won't adjust. I can hear the motor working but nothing moves. I took the mirror back off but i'm not 100% sure what i'm looking for. Basically nothing is moving when I adjust the side view mirror button. Passenger one worked out just fine. Any suggestions?

Hope no one minds me reviving an old post, but I’m having the same issue as you. Just installed the A90Shop mirror caps and now both mirrors won’t adjust. Were you able to get a solution to this?

Hey friend,

Surprised I didn't see this thread and hopefully you resolved this issue. I had the same issue when I put my carbon fiber side mirror caps and the motor wouldn't move. I fixed it by taking the mirrors out again, hopping back in the seat and adjusting the controls so the module is facing right in the middle (the circular thing) Mine happened to be facing all the way up so hence why it wouldn't move when slapping back the mirrors. Also, make sure you hear the nice safisifying clipping noises too when putting back the mirror. Some may not be fully in.

Hope this helps and to the fellow above.

Not OP but thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, I’m still stuck with super tilted mirrors. The module is still stuck in the most upright position and even moving it with the mirror off isn’t working. I can hear the motor and can see that the mirror is moving, but by the smallest of margins. Any further ideas?

If that's the case then try putting back the mirrors again and see if you clicked everything in properly. Sometimes you'll hear just a couple not all. The mirror shouldn't be touching the sides.

Mine was the same issue, moving a tadbit but it made a difference. Try centering it much as possible.

Same thing happened to me. What happened was when I was prying the mirrors out the middle circle thing popped up.

I took the mirrors off and pushed the bottom of the circle until it clicked back in. Everything worked again after that.

I hope this helps

Thank you all for the help! Turns out I just didn’t push the mirrors in hard enough. I thought I was pushing way too hard on it but it was pretty obvious when it snapped back in. Though I did have to push on the middle circle on the passenger side to fix that one.
