Let us know how the wind buffeting is at 130+mph. I installed the Verus versions, they’re solid to 150mph.

I still can't believe people drive around with the window/s down anyway. That's what climate control is all about. Same as "moon roofs" Just another hole for water to leak into and added complexity. I've had cars with sun roofs/moon roofs and the only time they get used is to demonstrate how shite it is in the open position to those that ask me why I don't like them.
I know, I know, "get of my grass" old man V clouds, etc lol.

I never said it wasn't there, and was just my opinion on it. My post was rushed while at work, apologies. At speeds above 100 I certainly do notice it, but sounding like a helicopter inside? Yeah, no. Was essentially just trying to say "in my opinion" the $10 amazon fix was enough, but whatever floats your boat.
No need to apologise. I just wanted to say that calling it not that bad is a misnomer. In the right wind conditions and speeds, it is worse than bad: It's unbearable. Don't get me wrong, it's not always there and in fact, during the first part of my test drive I thought the same: it's overblown and people need to get over it.. but then the wind changed direction and I literally had to wind the windows up. It's the same noise you hear in a four door car with a rear window down. If you can bear that, power to you but most people can't.

I too have a relatively cheap solution - I'm not sure why anyone is spending hundreds of dollars on fixing this - but fix it they must. And umm.. if it wasn't that bad, I can't imagine why you would've gone to the trouble of adding a cheap ass piece of rubber to your car?

$10 on amazon. Problem solved.
Sort of but it really looks like a $10 Amazon solution, especially if you have to trim it. I think there are better and still relatively inexpensive solutions out there (Looks like they've gone up in price though).

AMS has gloss black ones. Did you not like the CF pattern after purchasing them?
I like CF, but my mirror caps are factory CF too so didn't want them clashing with each other with too much CF bling in the same area. It was more a distraction than visually pleasing. I also choose the matte CF for that reason to set them apart. They compliment each other well (if you wrap them like I did).

If you want to hear any intake/exhaust sound in that car, you need to drive windows down...

The car sound outside is quite good, but the cabin is so insulated, you hear nothing.

Unfortunately the Australian Supra exhausts sound like a Prius - an aftermarket exhaust is a must down-under!

It kinda bothers me because on the outside it sounds OK. I need the car to be obnoxious outside to sound OK inside...

Agreed. I actually hated the car before I got the AWE Touring on. It sounds great now and completely woke it up: Not obnoxious but always present. Especially in Sport mode which is the only mode my car knows. ?

+ 1 to the "buffeting makes the car undrivable" - at some speeds. It is very speed dependent. I have the Verus deflectors (too expensive...but pretty), and they DO make a difference. I've tested them up to about 140mph on track.

If you get in a Supra without them, roll down the windows, and go immediately to highway speeds...it's not that bad. If you slow down to secondary road speeds 30-45mph...it's awful.

Yeah same here. I actually found a few minimalistic wind deflectors:
Verus
Autotecknic
The only problem here is they don't look like they belong because of their plain texture (vs. gloss). Also, that Verus one is made for GR86, so not sure if that will work.

The big reason for windows down would be if you track your car. I personally plan to track soon and already ordered just in case. Sadly 70$ is worth it vs wanting to vomit from headache in the middle of a track day. I justified the purchase as just in case cause of the free track day we get with the cars from NASA. Taken my Audi on Sebring many times and that straight before last corner is a helicopter waiting to happen ?

Alright don’t listen to the people saying the wind buffeting isn’t an issue. I raw dogged my Supra for 4 months before getting the ams wind buffeter for the a pillar and it made such a difference.

This topic might be a bit played out, but +1 for wind deflectors!

I regularly drive with the windows down and immediately noticed the buffeting.

I installed the cheap fix from Amazon and had no issues with it (I was proud of my cost-conscious choice!), but my wife later gifted me the AMS gloss carbon deflectors, and I like them quite a bit. They blend in nicely with the car’s look but honestly either works fine and neither looks out of place.
