I still can't believe people drive around with the window/s down anyway. That's what climate control is all about. Same as "moon roofs" Just another hole for water to leak into and added complexity. I've had cars with sun roofs/moon roofs and the only time they get used is to demonstrate how shite it is in the open position to those that ask me why I don't like them.
I know, I know, "get of my grass" old man V clouds, etc lol.
Windows? I can appreciate "direct" fresh air and some breeze. Sunroof? Well its what you said and lets the sun directly burn me without any other real benefit. So after a few 2 minute sessions in my evo with it open, it's been closed for the past 11 years lol.

The wind buffeting was very noticeable for me before I jumped on and read about it. I prefer to have the a/c Off as much as possible. ( old habit for that raw race car feel! lol) I usually end up deleting pulleys that drive a/c compressors if its an engine build weak point.

The only issue I am concerned about with the quick AMS fix is what does that do for air flow over the car at speed? I am sure it's negligible but by slowing the airspeed down at the a pillar, does it affect the downforce on the sides of the car at the rear?

Driving with the windows down on a nice day it one of the best feelings of sports car ownership...the exhaust sounds a little jucier, the traffic and the road just seem more connected.

This time around I'm not installing the wind buffeting solution. I did on my old 21'. Heck I still have new amazon parts laying around I never installed. I guess if I change my mind I can just install them. I noticed when I installed the deflectors the wind noise wad worsened with the windows up. But it was in the realm of normalcy mostly and didn't bother me on my old car. I did notice though.

The wind buffeting really takes effect when you start creeping over 40-45 mph. Usually I drive with my windows down in city....and windows up on highways. So I've been driving without them and haven't had an issue staying below "buffeting speeds".

It absolutely is an issue if you are windows down and 50mph...consistently. I'm just not.
