Major Mods related to chasis

MCS 2 way NR coilovers
Squared 18 inch wheels on TW 100 tires
Car dropped about 1/4 inch from OEM spec
Corner weight balance

Driving with all the VSC ON

Got this alert when the tires were already warmed up, car goes into limp mode I return to pits, no visible damage or anything out of place.
Car cools off then back into normal mode, so I go for next session and about 3 laps in error happens again.

Last session I turned VSC OFF and did not see the error happening but I was also driving much slower .
Could not capture any errors on Bimmer apps.

Changed my tires at the end of an event and drove back home. No issues, no warnings. Car has been ok Since then

Not a Corvette.
Going to be hard without codes.

How much fuel was in the car at the time(s) it went into limp mode? What was the car doing when it went into limp mode? Cornering? Accel out of a corner, right/left turn?

im gonna guess it's VSC on causing the ESP module to overheat, or (less likely) diff overheat, the extra stick tire you have wont help with either scenarios. Defs recommend just tracking with VSC off.

Hahahah. Yes my bad. I HAD them and don’t know where they went.
My suspicion is bad driving on my part with the VSC on and the car being like:

“noob slow down or I will slow you down”

Yea, but TC in itself shouldn't throw the car into limp mode. I could see where excessive brake torque vectoring could cause the diff overheat flag to trip though.

Are you driving with TC fully on, or 1 click off? TC fully on was absolutely undriveable for me. However mine is a 2020 and the TC programming is a bit different than later MY.

Driving fully on VSC. So I was getting the dash light a little but did not realize until later in the day
