clear lens swapping

Im going to swap my red taillight lenses to the clear oem ones. Did anyone have an issue after swapping them? Just trying to make sure im not making a mistake.

You will need an ultrasonic knife to cut off the factory lens. Then the most important step is that you completely clear out the molten plastic from the grooves.

After that it’s just sealing on the new ones.

Had a guy in our group swap his and it was a disaster. They look bad and leak. Its not an easy swap. He’s not happy with the results and upgrading to the heritage versions.
