Deep scratch.

Any ideas on which route to take for repairing this? It’s my pillar and it appears to be steel.

Touchup paint repair kit and some etch primer for the steel but honestly thats probably an overkill and a fine brush. How did this happen? Has the hood been off and this happened during the refit?

Feather is with some fine grit.
Tape it off and shoot two-part primer on it.
Retape a litte bigger and shoot color .
Move the tape job back again just a bit more and shoot clear.
Polish It with compound and be done.
No big deal

Yeah. Need a new hood. Got damaged and it’s off it’s “alignment” now.
