Difference between 21 3.0 premium and 22?

Is there any difference between the 2021 3.0 premium and the 2022 3.0 premium? Like even small changes was anything actually done? I've heard like the oil consumption issue is completely gone with the 22s but not sure if it's true.

Nothing mechanical. Red is a new interior color option on the 22s, and I think heated seats (or steering wheel) became standard.

The 21 oil burning thing was a vocal minority who complained -- fixed with 5w/30 for the most part.

For the 2022 3.0 Premium:

• 3 new colors introduced, Matte white, CU Later Grey (both exclusive to the A91 MT) and Stratosphere Blue. Turbulence Grey discontinued
• Red interior is now an option on the 3.0 premium
• 6 speed Manual transmission is now an option (3.0, 3.0 premium only)
• Retuned suspension/shocks
• hairpin+ driving mode
• Black leather/heated seats now standard

That’s about it, I think.

supra doesn’t have heated steering wheel and i thought red was always an interior option?

when they say black heated/leather seats are standard did they take away the alcantara ones the 2.0s had? and i could’ve sworn red was an interior options for 2022s too

Just got a 22 3.0 premium. Of the two at the dealership both of them had red interior.

I’ve owned both, at the same time, so I am hoping to speak from experience. They’re identical aside from some minor revisions which would have been noted in TSBs such as recall work that had been done on the 2021MY.

My 2021 had oil consumption issues, my 2022 does not. Oddly I did not have the wind buffeting issues in my 2022 that I did have in my 2021, but I am not sure why.

I would LOVE to have had red interior, but I really wanted a yellow car and while I don't actually think it would be a bad combo I did not want to endure countless Ketchup n Mustard comments.

Red interiors only came with Launch Editions, and were added as an option to 22s (hard to get though). 21s only have black interiors from factory. And you're right, heated seats, not steering wheel.

thanks for all the replies! so no changes but red interior which i actually don’t like. i’m getting a white with black interior just think it flows better.
