First post, feeling cute.
Anyone missing the revs?
Then it hit me…De-stroke?
Interested if a lightened crank with a square ratio would put us in the 2JZ/RB realm of 9000rpm?
Square puts us at 2.6 liter, the “stroker” crank only nets +.2 for 3.2 so displacement difference is negligible at these sizes.
Anyone have experience spinning the B58 while keeping the engine intact?
What are moderate cams getting us?
Where do factory valves start to float?
Any oiling issues at high rpms?
Wonder what cylinder wall length/rod angle would be like?
Anyone spin the ZF 8spd that far?
These are all from a street-car guys perspective, horsepower doesn't break parts, torque does! Spoiled by the S85 for too long!
