Exhaust Guys have some questions that need answered

Im going to be having a exhaust fabbed up . What did you guys do in reference to the active exhaust ? I plan on doing a single exit and ive seen some systems that have been developed but not quite explain what happens to the active system . Basically when its gone will there be any coding issues related to when sport mode is turned on ? Also what size do you guys recommend ? I was considering going from down pipe to oval for clearance an then single exit 3.5". thanks in advance

Coding will not be an issue as you can even adjust the valve On/Auto/Off on-the-fly with say BimmerLink.
with BM3 (and others) you can easily set what you want the flap at.
However, sorry I cannot speak definitively for if you remove the flap all together, but I believe it's not an issue as at least Armytrix, have axle-back without valve (with OE valve or with remote control own valve)... I think also AFE single and Borla single..

yea I read that one as well and couldn't,t make out a definitive answer either , which lead me to post this thread haha. Appreciate your time and input tho
