Exhaust Valved stopped working and stay Open all the time!!

Dears Need urgent help

I have installed AA Downpipe and FI Exhaust today on my Supra, after the installation the valve stop working suddenly so no difference between sport / normal modes the valve stay open all the time both valves, have checked all the wiring , fuse , valve installation all are perfect , my car is GCC version which is similar to US version without OPF so valve before the installation was working perfectly on the stock exhaust.

anyone has this experience and what to do ?

First the easy stuff, make sure the car is warm as the valve won’t open in sport even on cold start. If not, just go back to whoever did the install. If you did the install then I would; verify the motor is plugged in. Then verify the wires were accidentally melted or cut. Third you can check the fuse in the trunk (top left, 7.5). Then I would check mechanically it was installed correctly.

The installation was done at garage , the exhaust even on cold start the valve stays open ??
We have checked the wiring cables both OEM and FI 2-1 wire connection both has electricity and fine ,
The valve motors were installed at the same angle and properly, the first cold start after the installation completed the valves were closed and after that it never back close
Even by changing modes the valve stays open which is super loud and easy cops eye catching
We have checked all the fuses including fuse 203 which is related to exhaust valve and all are fine
We have checked both valve motors alone they work but just when connect to car they dont work

do you know some installed the FI system and had such a problem ?

When you started the car did it start closed and then cycle open and stay there? Or is the exhaust installed with the valves open? Seems like it should be installed with them closed, but I don't have an fi exhaust. Did you contact the garage? Could also follow up with fi about install procedure!

When I start the car it start for 5 sec open then it closed automatically then open again after its warm and never back closed whenever Im on normal/sport mode

have contacted fi local dealer they didnt know the reason so the send report to FI factory and we are waiting there reply

the installation was done perfect

I am gonna take a wild guess and say it is the springs on the valves being out of perfect alignment during install.

Check out this forum post regarding their valve springs. The shop probably needs to remove and reinstall the valves, potentially checking for damage to the valves/springs, then taking great care to install them perfectly aligned and in the correct facing direction.

I’m also running aa dp and fi exhaust, and mine is stuck in semi closed position and exhaust is really quiet. It doesn’t have anything to do with valve spring, because the current versions don’t have a spring between actuator and valve, instead the actuator slit slots onto the rotating cylinder for the valve directly. Any update or solution to this?

I ended up getting under and taking off the right actuator, clicking sport saw that it wasn’t turning properly. Got a flat blade and force turned into open (was like a sudden click), and I pulled fuse and keep it in always open. I think my actuator might have gotten clocking messed up at some point. Force turning it to open position and leaving it alone for now
