External microphone to the back of Supra for GoPro

I used to install a cable from the cabin to the back of my car to record the exhaust sound by Gopro in the cabin with the external microphone. It helps to record great sound for track day recording.

Any idea to setup the cable from the cabin to the rear number plate light slot?
