I have the Rexspeed factory silver paint matched. Fitments decent but there's a good gap from hood to fender. I found that putting a wedge between the inner body and rexspeed fender close the wheel arch essentially rotates the top fender up closer to the hood to reduce the gap significantly. Putting spacers at the top to lift up the fender actually made it worse.

I ghetto fabbed a wood wedge to push out on the fenders and bonded it in place before putting the fender liner back on. Seems to have held up after 6 months and the gap looks stock.
How is the paint match?

How is the paint match?
I ordered a set of the paint-matched Rexpeed V2 fenders and the color was definitely off.

While the fitment was better than I expected, I was told by a handful of body shops that repainting and refinishing by blending the OEM paint would cost more than the fenders alone did.

I ended up returning them for a full refund and reinstalled my OEM fenders.

Thanks for all the replies, I am confident that Rexpeed is the way to go, and I will have them sprayed locally and PPF’ed.

I replied to your PM. I will get you some photos of them in a few days, when I get home.

Not my experience at all. They sent me a set that was literally broken at first and then another set that was a “challenge” to install to say the least.

Are you selling your OEM fenders buy chance?

I have a dent on my passenger fender. and I think I am going to stick with the OEM one for now but looking to purchase a Tungsten Silver one.

So I ended up ordering the Rexpeed, they are even on discount, as the whole site has discount!

I ended up with the non-painted version, and I will have it painted locally and then PPF after a few weeks, before fitment.

Thanks for all the comments!

Would you mind taking a photo of this? I'm having a hard time visualizing what you did here. I'm having the same issue where I have a gap from the fender and the hood.
