Hi all,

I would really like to have the EVS fenders, but after reading a ton of threads here and seeing final fitment photos, I have hard time finding out if EVS have improved the fitting of the fender? (some have flush lines, others gap in the front part - is it just a matter of fidling-patience)

Alternatively, I see that Rexpeed also makes a fender with same design, is that a better fit?

Goal is paint matched norturnal black with the best fitment.

Please share your struggels with fitment and/or your recommendations!:confused1:

I have them on now, they look superb, but I have the infamous gap, and it annoys me on a daily basis.. On top, the gap on both sides are not the same size..

I’ll try to get a picture or diagram of what I did. Essentially if you grab the fender at the wheel arch just about an inch under the upper bump out and pull straight out you’ll see how that gap pushes up and closes a bit. I wedged a piece of treated 1x4 in there to push it out and used automotive sealant to hold in place before I put the wheel liner back on. Ghetto but it works and held up for year with me tracking the car.

Here's my rexspeed paint matched ones. The paint isn't perfectly matched - I'd say 85-90% but frankly I don't care that much. I wasn't going to pay virtually double the price for perfection. I also have the infamous gap at the front with the hood.

Bothered me for maybe 30 minutes, then I got used to it and still am in love every time I see it. My friend who ordered rexspeed also had the exact same gap I did.

Where I arrowed is where you can pull out to close that gap. Just behind the liner there i wedge the board to push out between fender and frame. It worked quiet well to close that gap right at the hood wheel arch.
