Well, it finally happened, the first big scrape. Passenger side side sill ?. Looks like a replacement is only about 150 (200 shipped) but I'm curious what it would be painted. Anyone have any idea how much getting part#75850-WAA01 painted in nitro yellow would be? And I see there is a right and a left, I'm assuming passenger side is considered right?

I resprayed mine I think it was a few hundred for removal, paint and reinstall.

Why would you need to by a new rocker? The one there just looks like surface scratch. But you'd have to replace that black piece.

That sucks.

Nobody sells that part pre-painted, and you wouldn't want them to. Instead, you'll need a body shop to paint match. A good shop will be able to match it to the rest of the car, not the factory paint code. There's variation even between batches at the factory, and once the paint has had a chance to bake in the sun, all bets are off.

I suspect you should have the rocker refinished, not replaced, prior to painting, but go with your shop's recommendation. As @jtsang25 says, replace the side skirt.
