First Dent :(

[Bad Karma]

People fuckin suck. My baby, my pride and joy, two years old and not a hint of wear ended today when I was running late for work. My city has parking problems, and I had to jump in a lot with only one space left tucked in between what I thought was two safe cars. I was only gone for two hours and came back to a very noticeable dent on my driver's side fender from what I can only assume was a door flung open with no regard for the car next to it.

What should be my next steps for repair? She goes in for an oil change soon; should I have the dealer look at it? Car is ceramic coated and has full front PPF (not that that's relevant). Should I bring it to my detailer to see what he can do with it? It's got a small slit on the dent and a light scratch around it, but it doesn't look like the paint is "missing."

Bummer, glad to hear it is easily repaired. I had to park in a tight lot recently, luckily was driving my daily GTI that day. Of course came back to a big scuff on the door. The one dang time I have to park next to people... Go figure. Idiots have no respect for other people's property.

Not sure that I've even parked the Supra next to another car yet - unless it was an oversized spot. If the situation requires it, I bring the GTI. Too bad of luck with people denting my doors. I can pretty much count on seeing new damage 20% of the time.

I know; right? It's just frustrating because I've never in my 37 years of existence have opened my door into someone else's car, and, like you, I park as far away as possible every time I take the Supra out. Unfortunately, it's my daily when my girl needs the Jeep; so today was one of those days. Anyways, thanks for commiserating with me.

I feel ya. 2 weeks ago was also the first time for me where I had to park between 2 cars, there was literally no where else it was a small town we were visiting after a long drive. Got lucky this time but I know the day will come...

Feel that. Somebody did the exact same thing to my door, 2 days after I bought it. Main issue is that it dented like that and chipped the paint to the metal.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I was quoted $2000 to fix it. I said fuck it I'll fix it my own, but have been too lazy to actually do it. I've been practicing with other rock chips and the touch-up works great, but since this one is big and very visible I'm scared of how it'll go. I asked detailers if they could do it for me, and they've all said no

Dude, no! That's so fucked up. Makes mine seem like child's play. How can be so heartless? Such a beautiful color, too, I hope you can get it fixed like it never happened, and whoever did that gets what's coming to them.
