No disrespect to Sebastian Vettel but it’s better that the consecutive win record goes to one of the great drivers, I’m not sure I put Seb in the same group as Max, Lewis, Senna, JMF, or Michael.
Vettel hit a hard decline when he was at Ferrari. He hit the ground running but Ferrari was on the way down. He became a parent, and when drivers become parents they start thinking about the risks. And when they do that, they lose a half a second a lap. He had a slower car, and in order to make up that deficit, you have to take more risk.

Is it just me or does it seem like Max won’t be declining anytime soon? Unless they really mess with his car or maybe has a child like Danny says, lol but true. Something major would have to happen to him or Red Bull no?

Perez did good. But he appeared mortal, next to the likes of Hamilton & Alonzo and ofc Max. Who’s currently on top of Mount Olympus ⚡ What will it take to knock him down? 1) Red Bull sanction 2) injury 3) he looses the drive to compete. If I was another team owner, they need Max’s confidence shaken. That would probably be the easiest route. If looking for a chink in his armor.

He’ll eventually loose a race. Right?!?

He'll get bored. After 2028 if he's really close to the records and the car is still competitive he might stay, but I see him going to compete in endurance racing after that. This dominance is fun for a year or two, but you have to have competition at some point.

he might get bored like Danny said, maybe have a “Casey Stoner like“ career where he develops into the top driver, (rider) then after some championships he dips out. Also success leaves clues, the engineers at the other teams are watching Red Bull with a close eye, poaching their engineers, and at some point Adrian Newey will retire. What then? Will Max want to work with a new technical director? Who knows? For now RB and Max are on top, enjoy it for what it’s worth but don’t be surprised if another team/driver brings the fight to them in the next year or 2.

If he stays in, I'm sure he and RB will dominate up until the next regulations change. Hamilton didn't look like he was "falling off" anytime soon then the changes to the floor in 21 that hurt the low raked cars and helped the high raked cars. His and Mercs dominance showed holes in their design. RB nuked the competition in these current regs. And with a budget cap no one is going to get that close to them anytime soon. I still don't believe Max and RB are at the limit or push 100% of that car yet. Same as Lewis and Mercs back then. The only thing that has changed is who is dominating the top. Its still a 1 team race but instead of Mercs its the RBs. Its not changing any time soon.

1 more race with him dominating the way he does and he wouldn't have to race the rest of the year and still would win the championship this year. (not mathematically of course, I don't trust that Perez would dominate enough to catch him)

Forgot about this thread LOL.
Yesterday's race was a lot of fun to watch. I see more reasons why Perez is the number 2 driver. I guess conspiracy theorists will still claim his car is lesser to Max's, but anyway.... I continue to hope for Lando to end up on the podium. Can he just be an honorary podium member? ?
I see Max winning every race barring a DNF due to something failing. Nobody has an answer for him. At least until regs change.
Am I happy that we have another dominating team? Not really. But the rest of the racing is really good.

Great job by the Ferraris! But can Carlos and Charles continue to pump out solid lap after lap after lap like Max does? Making matters even worse (if you want someone else to win), Max appears cool as a cucumber ? about his flub up yesterday & 2nd position on the grid. He’s going to be hard to beat while he continues to be so dadgum consistent.

Do they have betting odds like they do for football or other sports? If so, wonder what they are for Max.

Ferrari's livery, both car and overalls, should just be like that all the time. Looked so much better than anything they have done for a long while.
And Alpha Romeo - cool as ? colors. Hope they keep it!

Great job to both Ferrari’s keeping Red Bull at bay. Wow… Such a fun race & great time to watch F1 ❤ Keep the records coming Max ?

Gr supra 2020.
Terrible time to a F1, the pinnacle of motor sports has turned into a farce since liberty media have took over. Especially with the current leaders are aloud more financial budget than the rest. Indy car is much better racing and I’m English.

Judging by your spelling and understanding of F1 I'd say you're from West Virginia ?‍♂

Entertaining race. Fun watch. My favorite part was watching Max and Red Bull toy with Sainz until his tires were gone, THEN passing.
Could have beaten them outright, but the extra insurance and help for Checo was great team planning.
Seeing Ferrari up front and BATTLING was awesome, especially in Italy.
I'm always pulling for Aston Martin so am a bit sad for their result.
Still, I got to witness history. Got to see some teams that previously suffered being up near the front.
Great race.

Yeah that push in the beginning of SKY network to huff it and walk everywhere when we go all electric was pretty scary. Last thing I want to think of when watching a F1 race is rolling blackouts and hoofin it. Luckily we recorded it and I could fast forward. Nice trains though. I’d do that if I lived in a big city. Regardless, can’t they just stick to racing and stop trying to jam an agenda down our throats? I didn’t realize it was so pushy in your neck of the woods as well ?
