Canadian GP this weekend, suspect it will be a McLaren 1-2 with George in 3rd and Max trying not to get any extra points on his licence! :D
Or Max saying fcuk it, get the one point, miss a race and get to respawn with a clean license. If it works that way ?

I so hope you are correct about all your predictions. But I think your last one is a sure bet! I don't think Max or Red Bull want to see Max sit out a race.

I'm 95% sure it doesn't work that way. Points only come off his license after a year. Getting suspended for a race doesn't clear all the old points.

100% it works that way. All points are reset after the race ban. Happened to Kmag

If you are anything like me, all I'll get done today is running the TV and DVR for too many hours. F1, IndyCar, Indy NXT, LeMans, NASCAR in Mexico... cleaning mt aquarium will just have to wait!

I know it's all rumors, but so many about Max leaving. If he does RB is going to be back of the field team. I wonder if Yuki wished he stayed in VCARB. He was right around where Hadjar is. Now I see the bring Hadjar in to replace Yuki, I don't think he will do any better. I also wonder if Alpine think they should've kept Doohan.

I gotta work 12 hours, come home & cram it in, rinse, repeat & back to work tomorrow… It’ll still be worth loosing a bit of sleep to watch ?

You ain’t kidding! What a one man team. I’d hate to see Max go elsewhere with 2026 around the corner and everything changing. You’d think he’d give them a shot to see how that car turns out and finish this year up ?‍♂. Meanwhile, poor Yuki ? . It’s awful to watch because we like him a lot! It just doesn’t seem like anyone can drive that thing (besides Max). WTF!!!! At this point, can‘t they swap that 2nd RB for one of the Cash App cars? He’d do way better in that ? (they all would it seems)….

So yesterday I watched a lot of Le Mans, and F1, IndyCar and Indy NXT practice and qualifying. But the highlight of the day was the Xfinity race in Mexico! I'm not much of a NASCAR fan and even less of an Xfinity fan. But put those big, heavy cars out on a road course and you have the potential for a really fun to watch race. Sometimes they are like an F! race, just a train of cars with hardly any passing. But last nights race was pretty darn entertaining. The two leaders pushing and bumping each other irst 2/3rds of the race.

I think it's interesting how Red Bull had the best F1 car by far back 2 years ago. Max was unbeatable and Chico ran 2nd a lot (he could drive the car). And now the Red Bull is so bad that only Max can drive it? There's something wrong with that story. Look at Leclerc, he could kind of compete with Max while he was at Ferrari and now Albon beats him regularly at Williams, but Albon couldn't deal with Red Bull. I think there is something really screwed up with that team.

Next year, without Adrian Newey and a few other top people who have left, and engines now being built by Red Bull/Ford (ha) and Christian Horner maybe looking to move on... I think Red Bull may, emphasis MAY, be in trouble next year with or without Max.

Turn 1 today, Max puts a move on George and takes the lead. By lap 15 Oscar gets by George and starts gaining ground on Max. By the 2nd round of pit stops (it's a 2 stop race) Oscar gets by Max and wins. Wishful thinking on my part, maybe. But I'll be here to brag about my prediction if it happens that way! I'll also be willing to eat crow if Max wins...

Russell trying to trap Max into overtaking under the Safety Car, what a pathetic weasel ?

Piastri was damn lucky Norris didn't end his race too. You could see it coming.

Other than that, pretty boring. Hamilton should really think of retiring. He's just not fast enough anymore. Leclerc is done with Ferrari too it seems.

Antonelli is a mega star in the making. Excellent drive.

Oh boy, Lando...at least he owned up to his mistake, so kudos to him for that. Now he's really under pressure from Max for P2 in the driver's championship.

Well driven race by Kimi especially for that first podium, and George for Mercedes' first win this year.

And I gotta feel for Lewis and Charles, both getting screwed by Ferrari strategy and a car that's in no man's land. Lewis especially can't be happy with being in the 4th fastest car, miles behind the leaders, but ahead of the rest of the pack to be scoring regular 5-7th place finishes.

Lastly, RIP to the groundhog that died on the racetrack.
