RedBull lodged multiple protests against Russell, as they should. Leader has to stay within 10 car lengths of the SC until the lights go out, and that entrapment BS is just unsporting. Fully deserves a penalty, but, he's British so nothing will come of it ?

What about the rule that states the competitors must stay line astern and not pull alongside one another? (Also, the stewards threw out RBs case owing to the fact that every single car was braking hard and the accelerating behind the safety car)

I know you love a bit of Max, but either they should both get penalties, or neither get them.

Max wasn't alongside until Russell decided to slam on his brakes. You see him accelerating, look for Max, move out the way, and slam on his brakes.

Besides that, Russell failed to stay within 10 car lengths of the SC. That alone is a penalty, which Russell got last year, and Perez before that.

So he should've again yesterday.

It's circular though - because if Max had been behind him then he couldn't have accidentally overtaken him :p

Max and George will continue to be fun to watch as they dig at eachother! ??

Oh absolutely! I will say George had a phenomenal start. Nothing Max could do about that. He drove great all race. Just thought the bit behind the SC was unnecessary.

You whine more than Max does, and that's saying something!

Well, Canada didn't go the way I thought it would. Great start for George, super first couple of turns for Kimi. It was fun seeing George being able to pull away from Max. It seems the Red Bull car (or Max's driving style) is pretty hard on the tires.

What a great drive by Lando... right up until it wasn't! If I were in Zak Brown's shoes, I'd sit Lando down and tell him he will not be allowed to race with Oscar until the start of the 2026 season! And if he ever fails to obey a command from the pits, he'll find himself driving a McLaren in IndyCar next year. And Pato O'Ward will get his F1 seat.

I know full well how the Red Mist works. I raced wheel to wheel for almost 20 years. I've been subject to it's effect myself and I've been at the receiving end of others feeling it's effect. But damn dude, they pay you millions of dollars to not be so stupid! And if you had passed Oscar, what would you have gained? 2 points in the standings. And you have to know that it will be a long, long time before Oscar or Zak trust you again. And I having seen it yet, but you should be getting at least 2 or 3 (maybe even 4) points on your license!

BTW, it's OK to drive like that against Max, George, Kimi, Charles or Lewis, but not your teammate!

So Lando shouldn't try and pass his teammate to close the gap for the title?

Season isn't even halfway done and Lando should just hand the title to Oscar because they can't race each other.

Lando made a mistake, but he had every right to try and pass him, cleanly.

The track is funny there too, even though it's technically a straight, it isn’t. It curves just a bit and that caught him out I think. Same happened to Hamilton vs Button in in the same spot in I want to say 2011.

Yes he is, there are quite a few young stars right now and Kimi is certainly legit.
Yeah I really like him, and Hadjar too. Colapinto is a dud it seems. Bearman is invisible, which is just as bad. Same goes for Bortoleto.
