I do like Oscar a lot. He should join team Max (formerly known as Red Bull) 😉
I don't see much of a world where Oscar would ever choose to join RB if Max is there. They just would be oil and water, they'd never work side by side, and Oscar would not put himself in such a situation.

Funny way to say "Max is better and Oscar would fair no better than any other teammate Max has ever had".

Oh do tell!
I used to live near his father, on more than one occasion Jolyon used to like jogging in the narrow, tree covered lanes wearing dark clothes, headphones...and usually right down the middle too... I used to have a habit of using the same lanes to test drag cars on! 😂

What a clusterfuck of a qualifying session, gonna be interesting tomorrow with so much of the field out of place, and with rain.

Good for Max to get pole. Interested to see if Sainz throws caution to the wind tomorrow for a first Williams win in over a decade.

Is it supposed to rain? That would be good. Sainz will probably play it safe and try to stay in a podium position for as long as possible.

As of now, Accuweather says 40% chance at lights out and going up to 50% by 6pm Baku local time.

Definitely going to be windy, so I expect some wind-related issues same as today.

It ran so long that even though I had the DVR set to record 30 minutes after the scheduled time, I missed the last 5 minutes of Q3 and the 6th red flag! With the better competitors mired back in the field, I suspect Max will get a huge lead in just the first handful of laps while George, Lando, Oscar, Charles and Lewis work their way up into the top spots, but still behind Max. Maybe a full course yellow or red flag will allow them to restart right behind Max and make it interesting?

If you needed any more proof Max is a modern day Senna, that was it. What a lap!
Duuuuuude….. 🤩 Talk about threading the needle. What an exciting qualifying!!!!!

Cars were getting chucked around like play toys. Either you went slower or wrecked. What a fine line they had to drive. They should call it the Max Verstappen qualifying experience 😜 And I’m happy for Yuki. Maybe that RB is getting him better at driving on the edge. I can’t remember if Carlos put in another lap before the track got even more slippery. He definitely got lucky to get that one lap in there (same with Liam) before it got even more nutz.

I couldn’t imagine it being like that today as well. They drove there since 2016 (if I heard them correctly) w/out such wind tunnel force on the streets. If it remains like yesterday, it’s going to be one helluva race today

McLaren drivers don't deserve to win the drivers title. What an embarrassment. As soon as Piastri was out, Norris should've driven that rocketship to P2 MINIMUM! Another weekend like this, and Max is back within a shot for the title, and honestly, he deserves to win it. Another Grand Slam, Another masterful drive.

Sainz a podium in a Williams before Hamilton gets one in a Ferrari, unbelievable. Ferrari must be kicking themselves.
I had to chuckle at that half handed effort to give Leclerc his spot back after team orders to swap earlier that race 🤣
