Is this an older (or newer) kit? Mine didn't come with a remote. Also, curious to know why you uninstalled it.. assuming it was installed.

Update:

looks that is only compatible with premium models.

Is it due to hardware or software issues???

Not sure why there is so little info on this. Nobody gives clear explanations about it
