Yeah I edited it because I was trying to be nicer and provide you more context to why it’s there because I realized you probably don’t know it’s a z4 brace. I should have just left it lol

No worries man.
I was a bit offended in the moment, but that was just in the heat of the discussion — no hard feelings 😉

I honestly didn’t expect this part to be left on the Supra if it didn’t serve any real purpose in this context.

@catiktiks Also... your "lightweight" is exactly the same as the Final Edition here in North America.

The "real" Final Edition that EU/JP get does not have the brace because it runs a bespoke diff cover that would interfer with it. Also the same reason the 2026's get the M-lite diff cover with smaller cooling fins compared to the 2019-2025 Supras.

Yeah, it’s kind of a mess to keep track of all the different versions…
The Lightweight EVO doesn’t even exist in the US, and it’s basically the same as the US Final Edition, but different from the EU and JP Final Editions 😅

Hello. In the picture of the Final Edition's larger finned differential, I notice that it no longer has the vibration dampening weight that all Supras have. That means I can take it off too. It still weighs 2,262 kg, with its bolt it weighs 2,326 kg, which is quite a lot.

The Supras still have a lower weight on the differential bushing bolt and it is 1.489 kg. Does anyone know what happens if I take them off? Any noises, vibrations? Just dismantled but without a solid grip on the differential.

If we get a VIN of the Supra Final Edition Europe I could see in the parts program all the differences from our cars and the part codes so I could order them if needed. The VIN of our colleague who started this post with the Supra Lighweight EVO would also help. From what I've seen, the Final Edition has different bushings on the front arms and different rear axle bushings. and the rear arms on which the springs rest are different and the front and rear anti-roll bars, their bushings and the connecting rods.

Hi there, if its something you really want, I could design and fabricated a brace to replace the factory one. Id have to sit on it and I have a group buy going on for something else so it may not be a big priority. So if you're willing to wait for one let me know 👍

In Middle East the lightweight evo is called Track Edition, so we have three names for the same version of car.

Lightweight evo in Europe
Final Edition in US
Track Edition in Middle East

I don't understand why Toyota is doing this!
