Grippy Wireless Charging Shelf

The shelf above the wireless charging pad is as slick as my non-stick frying pan. Taking left turns with my wallet on top sends it flying into the passenger’s footwell or underneath the seat. I had an idea to apply some sort of grippy material to it so I found an 8”x10” sheet of rubberized adhesive material that people use on guns to improve grip and cut out a sheet just large enough to cover the surface of the shelf. Will report back if this solves my flying wallet problem.

Someone with CAD skills and a table cutter should make stickers for all of us suffering from this.

Same. The shelf is poorly designed to keep things on it. Maybe a wall needs to be created to contain items within the compartment. I don’t see this textured adhesive helping out with sunglasses.

I don’t think it was designed to have stuff on it. Pretty sure it’s just there to help contain the phone. May wallet goes in the cubby behind the cup holders. Good idea nevertheless. Report back if it works.

for sunglasses why don't you just buy something like this for the visor. I've something similar..
