Hardwired Dashcam

Anyone had a dashcam hardwired into the car? Big job?

In my previous car (an M2) there was an extra 12v port in the glovebox that I had the dashcam in permanently, but afaik the Supra doesn't have an extra one does it?

I've got some Govee interior footwell lights always plugged into the regular 12v port.

Mine's wired into the fuse box in the driver side footwell, there's an accessory fuse in there that comes on with the car

I was lazy and busy at the time though, and ordered a kit with included mobile installation. Took the installer a couple of hours. There's a guide elsewhere on the forum for hardwiring a blackvue kit though it's not quite the same approach. blackvue.co.uk is where I got mine.

Mine was installed as a dealer option from new. I think it runs off a feed from the rear fuse box like the one in the link.
