Help. Can’t get bm3 WiFi adapter to connect

Anyone having issue with getting bm3 WiFi adapter to connect to car? 3 hours can’t get it to connect to the car. I’ve copied and pasted the ip address once I connect to the WiFi adapter but it still won’t work. Disconnected the battery multiple times. Thanks in advance.

Assuming you are using an iphone:
- Turn off Bluetooth
- Turn off carplay for your car (settings -> general -> Carplay -> Toyota -> toggle of)
- Plug in adapter
- Put car in diagnostic mode (pres engine start button 3 times quickly, foot OFF gas)
- Open wifi settings, connect to adapter
- Save IP and SN, change from Auto to Manual, put ONLY IP and SN in, save
- Disable "Private Wifi Address" and "Limit IP Address Tracking"
- Go to Settings -> Bootmod3 -> Make sure "Lcoal Network" is toggled ON

Ok. Did a little more research..I had to download new map. The old map wouldn’t work with the new dme unlock with multimap functions. Downloaded new customRom. Thanks

Ok got it to connect. Thank you for that. But when I went to review the current map. It said there wasn’t one. I tried to reflash with my stage 2 93 tune and it was successful. But when I tried to start the car it won’t turn. It wants to start and tries to start 3 times but it won’t turn over. So I tried to reflash back to the oem stock tune. Then I got this error. Car was connected. Any suggestions?

Try the suggestions at the bottom of that flash screen. If that doesnt work contact bootmod.
