Hi, all. Have decided to switch to a carbon fiber hood (Seibon), but it's my understanding that the model I'm considering is 1/3rd lower weight than the OEM hood. I'd like to change the hood gas struts to compensate. I could find one other post on this topic, but it ended inconclusively.
Does anyone have a clear recommendation for struts that compensate for the reduced weight of the CF hood? Or is everyone simply running OEM gas struts?
