Just want to make sure that the rattle I'm hearing is normal. I understand that the ticking is the due to the DI, but there's a rattle in the background that I can't seem to explain. Car is new with just 200 miles, perhaps need more time to break in? Car is fully warm.

Thoughts?

Does it sound normal from inside?
I mean, it is a GDI engine so it good be the injector tick. It is hard to judge from mobile phone audio recordings...
Might record mine for comparisons.

Sounds about right. These cars are a bit unnervingly noisy, especially on cold start.

Yea , sounds normal inside. If you can get a video of yours, that'd be great!

When I got the car, I had the same exact thought lol. It sounds exactly like mine. It should be normal; they're very noisy. Also, if you think that's noisy, wait until you remove the engine cover!o_O

Edit: I'm trying to upload a video that I took a while ago so you can hear the sound (keeps failing to upload). It sounds exactly the same

Not a Corvette.
First time I took the engine cover off I thought I had a spun bearing. Noisy f’ers indeed.
