:(I just bought the side mounts for my new Sparco seat but I'm way too short at the max settings. Is there any safe way I can raise the seat? For reference I max out the height on the OEM settings and barely feel comfortable.

Most of the info online is the exact opposite issue where people are too tall but I'm 5'4 with the shortest torso ever. I'm at eye level with the top of the dashboard with these settings.

Would it be possible to modify the oem rails or stack my mounting plate with a slider rail?

I had to bring my seat up too. You can use spacers, bottom mounts, etc. I used a combo of both.

When I saw the OP asking, I cringed on the solutions some might post. Yours made me happy. Usually I would post against modifying mounting for seats, but this appears to be a very solid option that doesn’t jeopardize safety at the same time. 👍

Thanks. I try not to F around with safety, because I def don't want to find out.

I got the tallest brackets I could find (side mount) and drilled an extra set of holes on one end. I'm 5'6".

**Edit: took me three sets of mounts to figure it out.
