Sold: Injen Exhaust Install Help (valve cable)

Hey everyone! With the blizzard here in New England I figured it would be the time to install the new exhaust! Just working on 4 jackstands, so it’s tight under the car, but the old exhaust is out and the new one is in! There is a major hiccup, the exhaust motor cable is NOT long enough. I know what you’re thinking…remove the splash guard and pop out the grommet! Well I have! Two of them. Even routed the cable around the heat shield above the top and it’s about an inch too short. Is there another grommet up there? My hands are all cut up from the heat shield and I simply can’t pull any more cable. Any ideas? Hints? All the other brands use the stock cable OR just pop out that one grommet (easy). Attached a few pictures showing it matches exactly what Injen shows on their site. Thanks!

maybe I do have to pull more out? Is there a third grommet? What a pain this is.

**Sorry, grommet may be the wrong word. Its more like a pop-clip or harness clip that holds the cable to the body. Chatting with Injen tech now.

There is a third clip. Had to bend the heat shield (easy enough to bend back).

Certainly! Can say I fired the car up really quick and it’s super deep. Honestly not too loud! Install was a PITA on my back, by myself. However it is currently a full blown blizzard outside! Will drive and grab some clips tomorrow if the weather permits!
