Exhaust valve not lining up after new exhaust install.

So put on a new exhaust and when testing the sport mode noticticed there wasn’t a difference. I disconnected the valve from the pipe and tried to put in sport mode just to see if the actuator was moving or jammed. I had it set to normal so valve was closed and it initially lined up. But during testing I removed it and tried again it looks like the motor moved and now I can’t get it back together. Pretty sure I just have to change modes a few times until it lines up but thought I’d check here for any tips to do this any easier.

I had the same issue but was able to install control properly with help. Had wife switch from normal mode to sport repeatedly until control drop in place.

yea. That’s pretty much what I did. Just switch it a few times and check and finally got lined up and all is good. Thanks
